I am a qualified coaching psychologist with almost 20 years of experience in providing personalised, psychologically informed and evidence-based support to individuals and organisations.
With a professional background in both mental health and occupational health nursing, I bring a unique breadth of knowledge, skills and experience to my coaching psychology work.
Over the course of my career, I have worked within complex and global organisations including healthcare, emergency services and public sector organisations, charities, and FTSE 100 organisations; bringing evidence-based strategies to support meaningful and sustainable change.
An experienced senior leader of diverse international teams, I am accustomed to adjusting my approach to fit the unique context and culture, navigating complexity and skilled at motivating and developing individuals and organisations to reach their potential and achieve challenging goals.
This breadth of experience allows me to combine psychological insight with practical understanding of the often complex and challenging realities faced by people and organisations today, and to provide high-quality, tailored coaching psychology interventions that fit the unique context and culture of each client.
I hold the following professional qualifications;
Alongside these formal qualifications, I have undertaken extensive additional professional training and regularly partake in a diverse range of continuous professional development activities.
I strongly believe in the importance of providing a supportive and respectful environment where you feel psychologically safe and free to think, feel, and explore relevant topics with open curiosity and without fear of judgment.
In line with this, I adhere to the codes of practice and ethics set out by the British Psychological Society and the Nursing and Midwifery Council, (copies of which are readily available on their respective websites).
With a strong background in mental health, occupational health, wellbeing, and psychology, I bring a holistic, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-aware, emotionally intelligent and highly personalised approach to coaching.
To support each client in an engaging way that feels personally relevant with practical and tangible actions that can be readily implemented, I draw from a range of evidence-based practices and psychologically grounded models including evidence-based models, including Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, Acceptance and Commitment Coaching, Solution-Focused Coaching, Positive Psychology and Bio-Psycho-Social approaches (you can find more information about these approaches here).
I work with a diverse range of clients, from individuals looking to work on their own health and wellbeing, to individuals making career changes, to students looking to excel, to entrepreneurs driving their businesses forward, to senior and C-suite leaders looking to lead more effectively, ethically and authentically, and organisational looking to improve resilience, embed wellbeing, and coaching into their culture.
What all my clients have in common is the desire to do something differently, the courage to seek support and the openness to try out something new.
